I mentioned in a previous post that my father had a vintage phone. I forgot it on my last trip but I picked it up over the weekend. I paired it with the vintage typewriter which are both on top of the old sewing machine base - all his. He had some good stuff. The wooden top looks dusty, but it's just a little worn. I've been meaning to repaint it eventually.
I also took a small table he had.
I thought the chair in the corner was looking kinda lonely and wanted a small table just like this so it's perfect.

DeleteI love old phones and typewriters. I am not sure I would paint the table. It looks great as is with the phone and typewriter on it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Betty. It does look better in person. I think the camera reflecting off the table makes it look worse than it is. I do need to paint the unfinished edge that somehow never got painted when it was cut down to fit the the base. Oops!
