The property our home sat on was even more neglected than our house had been when we purchased it. The backyard had no grass or plants. The only thing there was years and years of fallen leaves and mud beneath. The front wasn't as bad but what shrubs were there, were completely overgrown including one tree that was growing into the gutters because it had been planted too close to the house. The transformation has been a lot of back-breaking work and it did not happen overnight.
