School ended for the Wild One last week and she brought home a parting gift - a cold for the entire family. I, myself, am pretty miserable but I had to drag myself out of bed this morning pounding head and all to finish up work rather than call in. Didn't much matter that I had to get up since I couldn't sleep anyway but to make matters worse, its raining.
I found this picture of a candle in a rainy window that is soothing and thought it was appropriate for the gloomy day. Ahhh, a candle-lit room on a rainy day. I wish I could be there!

I really hope you get feeling better soon! Having a cold is one of the things that can really ruin a few days in everyone's life, especially when mixed with rain! I hope you get a chance to stay at home, snuggled up with a good book, while the cold and rain pass.
