Mr. T is going to kill me! We've been disagreeing about painting our terracotta kitchen. If it were up to him, we wouldn't paint it at all. I wanted to paint it to match the lighest color of our tile which is a cream but I've been having an impossible time picking the right color. Every color I've chosen is either way too light or the wrong shade - too grey, too yellow, etc.
Today, after my girls were napping, I went to our paint stash and just mixed a couple of colors I have and started painting! I don't love the color, but I so HATE the orange.
I need to finish before little fingers come to touch the bottom ... and Mr. T comes home! He'll be much more agreeable if its done and cleaned up! ;-)
Looks good so far. If you decide you don't like it, you can take one of your drawers from the island to Lowe's or HD and they can color match that color for you. It would be lovely on the walls. Good luck. Hugs, Marty

ReplyDeleteNow my rule of thumb is is whoever spends more time in the kitchen gets to make the choice. He obviously loved you enough to marry you so he must trust you as well. That means he should be happy with your choice-if the choice made you happy as well..Looks good to me..Love Tiina..
