"New" Finds!

Have you ever had insomnia? It started for me with my first pregnancy and now it happens off and on. I'm exhausted all day, then by 9PM after the girls are asleep, I'm wide awake and can't sleep. So today, I could barely keep my eyes open at work. I'd plan to work extra hours but I was lucky to manage to stay awake the few hours that I was there. Instead of working the extra hours, I went to check out my favorite thrift stores. It wasn't great, but I did manage to get a few things.

This little tiny cloche - $2.

This finial - $.69.

This brand new bag with tags still attached - $4. I was excited about this. My favorite Wal-mart straw bag fell apart a few weeks ago. Now, I have this to replace it.

I found a couple of jewelry boxes. I really like this one. Its a good size and I have a lot of jewelry. I think it was $3.

I like the color of the inside ... a sort of greyish. I think it will be a nice compliment for my vintage jewelry.

This one wasn't in as good condition, but I liked the design on the top. I think it was around $3.

I really need to clean this one out quite a bit, but the compartments are perfect for rings and earrings.

I think they look perfect stacked.

Last but not least, my two monkeys who never sit still long enough for me to get a decent picture.

I'm going to DE for a few days. I'd hope to go to the beach one last time, but the weather has cooled down quite a bit and I'm sure it will be cooler with the breeze near the water. I hope I can at least sleep tonight!
