This is for The Charm House blog who is hosting a Tour of Collections today.
I love white so I've been gradually picking up milk glass these days. Its inexpensive and easy to find. Like most collections, I think individual pieces look so sad when they're all alone among random things in thrift stores, but as a group, I love how it looks as if its found its family. Here are some of mine.
I've started a milk glass collection too. I've started liking white things and see my house turning from "earth tones" to a soft blue and white theme. I enjoyed your pictures.
ReplyDeletebeautiful pieces! They remind me of items my grandmother use to have!
ReplyDeleteI started collecting the milk glass for two pink, black and white bridal showers that I am hosting for both of my niece's. In the process I have fell in love with it! I have learned to be careful of what you purchase on Ebay, sometimes the good deals are not really milk glass when it says it is. Learning fast!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a part of my tour!!

ReplyDeleteI have cheap white pottery on top of my cabinets and love it - I use it all the time!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the comments!
ReplyDeleteTo "The Charm House":
I know that not all that I buy will be genuine, but I'm okay with that. I think if I worried about what was Fenton or Westmoreland, it would take some of the fun out of my treasure hunts.
