I'm sitting here next to these pretty hydrangeas I picked from my garden this morning. They're starting to fade to paler colors already. I guess fall will be here before I know it.
I was surprised to find the Stargazer Lily below growing in one of my beds all by its lonesome. I planted a few of these there 5 years ago, but once the trees leafed out, I knew there was no chance for them with all the shade. I moved some of them a few yearse ago and this one just randomly popped up. I stuck it in among an arrangement of roses. While I was out there, I picked some of the few veggies we have. You can grow veggies in shade, but you won't get as much as if you plant in sun. If you have a sunny yard, you don't know how lucky you are!
Hi there. Such beautiful floral photos! I just finished taking a peek at your home photos in your sidebar and think you've done an amazing job! Your porch area is to die for.

Beautiful photos. I love those little white birds under your gorgeous hydrangeas. Summer does seem to be going very fast. I was in a couple of stores yesterday and they were already putting out their fall decorations. I wanted to shout "Not yet!!!"
