Phoebe Howard

Today in the Home section of the Washington Post there was the picture below of a beautiful bedroom by a designer named Phoebe Howard. I love the color of the room.

I don't know the first thing about designers and typically find what they do far beyond what I could ever have in my humble home. However, with regard to the picture above, had I seen this a week ago, my bedroom would now be that color. You see, I'm painting my bedroom (yes, again) because Mr. T never cared for the white and though he didn't care too much, I want him to like it so I'm in the middle of painting it a color I don't like. Maybe there is another gallon of paint in my future.

Back to Phoebe Howard ... She does some beautiful work! This mirror ...

... kinda reminds me of this mirror ...

Such a pretty chandelier here ...

Maybe a teeny bit like this one?

Oooh, a shell mirror ...

... and the DIY version.

My home is never going to be magazine-worthy, but its fun to dream!

  3. You're doing a beautiful job. If I could, I'd change things up at my place frequently. The DIY shell frame is gorgeous. Is this something you did? Wonderful job!

  5. She does beautiful work, but I'm positive it's Pheobe Howard, not Price. :) Her site is: http://www.phoebehoward.net/

  8. I came across your blog while doing a search for Phoebe Howard. I am using her as inspiration for redecorating/remodeling a lake condo we just purchased that is in dire need of updating. I think you've done some great replications here. Congrats.
