A few days ago, I found someone selling postcards in a chat room in Etsy. She was a super nice seller. A few short days later, I received an envelope from the Netherlands! (Sad that I get so excited about a letter from overseas.)
This is the postcard I purchased. Its from 1910. I have no idea what it says on it.
Here's the back. Love the handwriting. They say that with the computer age handwriting is becoming obsolete. How unfortunate ...
She sent me this bonus card. The message seems to refer to New Years (right?) but the house makes it spooky enough to display for Halloween.
The message on the back ... Makes you wonder about the sender and recipient.
Well, I'm off to the flea market ... Happy Saturday!
Oh wow! I didn't know you could purchase such a thing....very special!
ReplyDeletedivine idea ... the final effect was luxurious
