I've been so busy doing a million things between normal every day errands, caring for sick little ones, working, my shop and never ending decorating. My current project is my mantle and its turning out wonderfully. I'm still deciding on a few things but I'll be sharing pictures of it all decorated soon.
In the meantime, here are a couple of things I've picked up on my hunt for mantle decor. Christmas items hit the store a while ago and I always browse never intending to buy, but I couldn't pass up these leaves and the pinecones. While the leaves are intended for the holidays, I thought they'd work with my mercury glass pumpkin.
I also decided to display my teacups in my cloche.
Back to my long "to-do" list ... More to share later this week!
There is something to be said of taste that inspire as seen through the eyes of one with a cultivated eye, unfortunately I’m not the one best able to say it but I’ll say this. You my dear have an eye for the divine. I will follow with interest and appreciation.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE that mercury glass pumpkin!! I want one!
ReplyDeleteI love that pumpkin! I need that! I've never seen a mercury glass one before! I love it all!
ReplyDeleteYour mercury glass pumpkin and leaves are so pretty, they will make a beaufiul transition from fall into winter, and the teacups stacked in the cloche...genius! I'm having a give-away if you'd like to come by. Have a great week!

I've posted my mercury glass pumpkin before, but for those of you that didn't see my previous post, the pumpkin came from HomeGoods. It is the exact same pumpkin that Pottery Barn was selling, but it was $10 cheaper!
ReplyDeleteWhether or not they're still selling it is questionnable. I went to HomeGoods yesterday and there was a lot of mercury glass but it was mostly Christmas decor. All the pumpkins were gone. Still, its worth a look if you're interested!
The table decorations are just gorgeous. I love the silver pumpkin and it looks wonderful with the pinecones and leaves. I really like the hurricans with it too. You know I love your cloche and putting the teacups in it is sooooooo perfect. Love it. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLooks great...love the tea cups under the cloche!!

Sorry to hear of the little sick ones....
ReplyDeleteLovely decor, you are so very talented! I have to also say that I love your chairs! I'm looking for chairs to go with my recently purchased harvest style kitchen table. I think I've found some, but gosh, they were hard to come by!
I am seriously crushing on that pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteI'm out and about reconnecting this week. I'd been MIA for awhile, but now I'm back! Hope you and yours are well!
Enjoy your day!
