Happy Thanksgiving!

We're heading out to get an early start on stuffing ourselves like turkeys!

If my pants get too tight, its okay. Tonight, I'll be heading out with my mom and brother for midnight outlet shopping! I wasn't planning to go for deals or anything until I found out that there are several entire stores with 50% off! My mom and brother went last year but I had an infant at home and I was sleep deprived so I just couldn't fathom being out all night shopping. This year, I'm looking forward to having some fun. I have no idea how I'll survive on no sleep, but I can't wait.

One last thought since its Thanksgiving ... I'm actually so very thankful for this blog and especially all my followers. Before starting this blog, I had become unhappy and bored being at home. I know some people dream of staying at home, but I started to find it monotonous. Although I didn't plan it this way, having this blog gave me an outlet apart from bottles, sippy cups, tantrums, diapers and Sesame Street and it helped me find happiness at home. So, Thank You for reading my ramblings.

Best wishes for another year of blessings. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving!

I agree with you about blogging. I love being able to express myself and share ideas with others. It also helps me to ahare pictures with my family that lives in other states.
After dinner today, I'm just gonna be lazy and watch a Christmas movie or two with my little boy. I have to be at work at 3:00 AM in the morning for Black Friday! I work in a dept store.

    Have a great day!

    Hugs,

  2. I love blogging too because it connects me with individuals that enjoy the same interests as I do. And now that I'm retired (LOVE IT!) I have time to blog. It's nice to meet people from other states and countries. Your picture is very nice - you are very pretty! I haven't worked up the nerve to post a photo yet. Maybe one of these days.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. Yes, blogging is very therapeutic and gives us an outlet we might not otherwise have had! And new friends to visit all over the world. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving today.

  4. I agree, it is great to connect with other adults who share many of my interests, especially of the nesting and crafting variety. I have lots of family and friends that I like spending time with, but when I'm not busy with the kiddos and hubby,I like to have some 'me' time and now that is happily filled sharing with my 'blog friends'.

Wishing you and yours, and all your American readers a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
