Hello blogosphere ... Long time no blog.  What can I say?  Lack of time these days is a major problem for me.  Also, the cold makes me want to hibernate until spring.

Anyway, over the weekend I was in Leesburg, VA with a friend visiting some antique stores.  I took a bunch of pictures, but sadly, I left my small camera along with my iPod and coat at my dance studio because the cold apparently makes me even more absent minded than usual.  I'm hoping to retrieve it but in the meantime I thought I'd share something I picked up.  I absolutely loved this tea towel.

I think its far too pretty to use so I actually plan to make it into a pillow for my bed.  I think it goes pretty well with my bedding and dropcloth drapes.  What do you think?

We didn't have nearly enough time out there and hope to return ... sometime soon.   Hopefully, this pillow project is simple enough that I'll be able to squeeze it in soon.

  1. Your bedroom is gorgeous! The tea towel pillow will go perfectly.

    Happy sewing!

  2. It will work perfectly in your room. Can't wait to see it finished up.

  3. I love sewing with dropcloth. It becomes so soft when you wash it!! I actually have a draped slipcover over my sofa out of dropcloth.
Love your window treatments!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the towel is gorgeous!!
