Spring Sprucing

I did a little little sprucing at home for spring even though it's possible we could get another blizzard next week.  I changed the curtains in my dining room to green and put out eggs for Easter.  I know it's early, but I'm done with winter.

I added a few plants to the room including the peace lily by the window and hope to get more plants this weekend from my mom's house that were my dad's.  He loved plants.  I just hope I don't kill them.  I would like the room to have a conservatory/garden feel.
I'm working on painting a piece and adding some of the old Irving Berlin Army sheet music from the 1940s to it that my father had.  I love the look of this dresser, but the finish has seen better days so I'm trying milk paint for the first time.
I hope to share the finished product soon.

  1. We must all be dreaming about spring and adding plants to our homes. Your heirloom dresser is gorgeous and it's going to be so pretty after you paint it!
