I bought these chairs a few months ago at my favorite thrift store. One of them, I use every day and it sits in front of the console in my living room. The second chair was for the Wild One's desk. I painted her pine desk a few months ago. When I bought the chairs, my plan was always to paint it and and recover the seat to match the desk and I did it today.
Chair before ...
I used a white eyelet for the seat. Not exactly the most kid-friendly, but it takes all of 15 minutes to change the fabric. Plus, its what I had on-hand.
I'm not sure yet what I plan to do with the other chair. I mentioned that a couple of weeks ago, I purchased a french style desk in DE, but I couldn't transport it home, so I'm still waiting for it. I may use the chair with that desk but I haven't decided on whether to paint the chair or what fabric to use for the seat.
Tomorrow, I'm going to start painting a small vanity/desk and chair that are in the Happy Girl's room.
