More from my Weekend ...

When I go to thrift stores or antique stores, I'm always on the prowl for milk glass. I really like anything with a lace edge or hobnails. My mom and I found a couple of great new stores. My most exciting find was this cake plate. I've seen these all over online, but by the time you'd pay for shipping, it wasn't such a thrifty find anymore. Its a perfect match for my cloche. I've always wanted this because it matches ...

... my other lace edge dishes. Now, I have a perfect set for dessert!

More little pretties - I also found these two pieces with lace edges ...

... this hobnail dish ...

... these custard cups ...

... and one of my favorites were these shell dishes.

There was so much more, but I really have to restrain myself and only buy what I REALLY like and remember that I don't want to spend more than a few dollars. For me, finding a bargain is the exciting part. I was totally drooling over an incredible milk glass pedestal punch bowl with 24 glasses, but it was more than I wanted to spend especially because I already have a punch bowl! They are having a sale and I may ask my mom to go back and see if its still there. If not, it wasn't meant to be and I'll be okay with it.

It definitely took some rearranging to get all of these new things put away. I'm running out of space!

Speaking of little pretties, here are my girls enjoying their weekend ...

The Wild One was cautious at first ...

... but it didn't take long before she was lovin' the waves!

Happy girl wanted no part of the water and decide to do what she does best. Eat.

Daddy with his Happy Girl ...

And, look! A dolphin!

I'm just waiting for the 'rents to return from their Vermont cabin so that I can go back for more beach fun with the girls. We all had a great time!
