20" and Counting ...

Here's my yard this morning ...

They say we've gotten 21" where I am, but I'm not so sure. I can't reach this little table through the snow drifts to measure. We're expecting another 5".

Here's the little tree in my front yard ...
Same tree after the last storm ...

Lots more snow this time around. I love it!
I live just outside D.C. in Virginia. The city is pretty much crippled and the roads impassible. Too bad because I really want to go to Target! It doesn't take long for me to get cabin fever. Hopefully, I can escape tomorrow.

  1. That's a lot of snow, but it is so beautiful. Love the picture of the snow on the little table. Hope you stay in and stay warm. Hugs, Marty

  3. I feel your pain. We are in south western NJ and got just as much with more due today. Stay warm and when you do venture out beware all those who panic behind the wheel at the sight of a snow flake!

  5. Looks like more than 21 inches to me - that's a lot of snow (and I live in Canada). Should be good tobaganning and snow-angel making conditions. I hope you stocked up on hot chocolate.

  6. Now that's a lot of snow. We are used to that here, but oddly enough not so much yet this winter. Snuggle up and if your cabin fever gets too bad, create something. That always helps me.
