Laundry Room - Phase III

I finally managed to escape to the snowy roads and we got our new Ikea cabinets installed.

A "before" reminder ...

I am planning to make a sink skirt to hide the hideous sink (and our bucket storage). I've also decided against a backsplash for now. I realized that if I ever buy side-loading machines and have a counter installed, that it could be a potential problem with an existing backsplash. I'll install the backsplash someday when I get new machines.

Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day!

    Looking Good! I like the cupboards and how they open 'up' instead of sideways.

    Definitely no longer a scary room. Is the laundry all caught up now that you have such a pleasant place to do it in?
