Storage solution ...

Yesterday, my girls were napping so it was magazine sorting time again. My Happy Girl woke up in the midst of my organization and I left the pile on the table. I keep the magazines I want far away from them because they will be in shreds in no time, but I let them look (at least until the shredding started). It seems they may have a thing for decorating.

Anyway, I thought I'd share where I keep the mess of toys in our living room. The huge basket was once a bed to my precious Sally who passed away almost 2 years ago. We got rid of the bedding but kept the basket (in addition to other things of hers that I was too distraught to get rid of at the time). Not long ago, I realized what I could use it for. Its the perfect size. And, it reminds me of Sally.

Pretty nifty, right? And, here's Sally. Wasn't she beautiful?

  2. Good morning, Melanie!

    What a beautiful dog!
It makes me happy to see that you could use Sally's bed for your daughters toy basket!! Even after 2 years since she passed away, she could still give you and your family a special gift!

    Melanie!!

I enlarged the picture and saw your daughters!!
