Kennesha at Me n My House is having a Junk Party. I already posted some of my most recent finds like the milk glass and apron from last weekend's trip, but I thought I'd revisit some of my other finds ...
Thrift store punch bowl with 12 glasses $5.99.
$1 dish soap bottle from thrift store ...
Most of my milk glass is thrift store finds ...
The silverplated tray was a thrift store find here too ...
Before - Purchased for $10 including matching mirror at a yard sale. I had actually sanded it down and liked it this way. The original finish looked like it may have been scratched into by a kid and I don't have a pic.
After - Painted to match nursery furniture.
Before (from thrift store)...
After ...
Be sure to visit the Junk Party to see all the other great finds!
What great "junk!" Loving, loving, LOVING that white hobnail, it's one of my many weaknesses.
ReplyDeleteI have serious milk glass envy here!
ReplyDeleteThe milk glass looks so clean and fresh... you just want some fresh cut flowers to put in them! Your "junking" is impressive!
ReplyDeleteLove the milk glass, love the cloche, love the chest of drawers painted white....I love it all!
ReplyDeleteLove the little display under the cloche.

Sorry I'm just now getting to your party. Love all of your thrift store finds. You have a great eye for things. And (with sheepish grin) I think I liked the dresser natural a little better, but either way it's a great piece!! You are a very creative gal!
ReplyDeleteKristal,
ReplyDeleteI liked the dresser better sans paint as well! Unfortunately, since it was going in a nursery with a white crib, it just didn't work. It was a $10 yard sale find so you couldn't go wrong! ;-)
