This is where I blog. Its the perfect spot where I can keep an eye on my two devious little ones.

I recovered this thrift store chair ...
If the chair looks familiar its because I have another of the same chair that I painted and put with a desk in the Wild One's room last week. For the time being, the finish on the chair matches the console, but I may be moving the console so I'm not sure if I'll eventually paint this chair as well.
I also cropped and ordered these prints I took in Paris and put them in frames I painted with a crackel medium.
I have more of these to paint that I'll hang in our basement and I may do it today. We're off to the beach tomorrow!
The chair looks gorgeous. I love the lighter fabric. YOur whole room looks so light and airy, very refreshing. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteMelanie, I enjoyed looking at your home and garden pictures. You and your husband have work so hard on your home. It is fabulous, sometimes we can paint a room and it just doesn't work. Good for you for changing and repainting it so that you are happy with it. I love your blog. Every room, garden, and your patio are sooooooo gorgeous!!!!! Have a nice 4th of July. Sandi
ReplyDeleteHi, Melanie!!!
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing?
I've been so busy lately with my mom and with my volunteer work that I couldn't blog much.
Your blog is gorgeous! Very nice!!!!
I used to visit your blog at least twice a day
and now I fall way behind so I have a lot of catching up to do.
Have a great day!
Suzie
don't tell me you did this yourself... i need some help!
ReplyDeleteMelanie, I came over from your comment on Manuela's teacup birdfeeder post and am loving your blog!
ReplyDeleteI had just a few min and quickly looked back at a few of your posts. I believe the flower you didn't know the name of at the garden is either a Crinum Lily or Peruvian Daffodil. If you google one of them, you may be able to figure it out. :)
I'll be back to read more later...
